Vultures in Rémuzat













 The griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) is easily identifiable Rémuzat in the department of Drome. It belongs to the family of raptors. In flight this bird in a large scale: 2.60 to 2.80m., making it one of the largest raptors. It moves in the air using wind or thermals.


 The Griffon Vulture is a scavenger bird of prey. It lives in colonies. It has a piercing sight. Its daily requirement does not exceed 400 g, it is able to fast for several days.
